Fantastic view and deck. Enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Weather perfect. Accommodations great. Breakfast on the deck was wonderful. Hope to come back soon.
—Diane, Williamsburg, VA

Keep up the good work. The beds are comfortable, the wood stove makes for a warm and cozy evening of games playing at the table; the bookshelf of Readers Digest books for a cold evening & Very Hospitable Hosts --a wealth of information.
—Ron & Joan, Jean & Philip, Alexandria, VA

My second time here. Just as enjoyable now as it was a few years ago. Got to hear a whip-poor-will for the first time since I was a kid. Saw 29 eagles from the Potomac Eagle train ride. What a wonderful day we had!
—Barbara, Waynesburg, PA

My friends and I had a wonderful stay with Shari and Phil at Just Far Enough Getaway. Nothing can compare to the peace & quiet of a wooded home filled with birds, fresh-air and friends. Our stay will not be our last. The Potomac Eagle train ride was a day of memories we will carry with us always. Eagles in flight, riding along beautiful countryside, eating wonderful fare will make any day one that will never be forgotten. The house in the woods, eagles in the air. This is what life is all about!
—Maxine, Waynesburg, PA

Thank you for a wonderful 3-day "getaway." It was so nice to have a place to entertain our grandkids & great granddaughters--twins--6 months old. It is a beautiful area!

Thank you for holding it for us even though we got lost. A nice break from the rat race in Northern Virginia. I bet the view in fall is beautiful.
—Jane B., Springfield, VA

Wonderful two weeks in a beautiful home with a GREAT VIEW! Lots of wildlife abounds (though no deer availed themselves of the dew-tinged lawn below the deck) and plenty of insects, butterflies and moths will become a permanent display for thousands of biology students to come. Long walks were a pleasure to the eyes, ears, nose and HEART! West Virginia is a beautiful state to which I will return someday. Thanks for the hospitality, hlep with my entymological collecting and the afternoon of fishing. We has such a lovely time.
—Alice B., NJ

Simon and I have had a wonderful couple of days here at your getaway. The house and surroundings are gorgeous. We went "antiquing" and canoeing through The Trough. If you like a little adventure that canoe trip is worth the money. Ice Mountain is on the docket tomorrow as we leave for the DC area to visit friends. We most certainly appreciate your hospitality. You have a lovely home and we'll be back in the near future. Thanks again. Hope to meet you next time around.
—Rachel W., Morgantown, WV

Wow! What a warm, loving and hospitable home. We greatly enjoyed our stay here. Not only was the view beautiful, quiet and serence, but the accommodations were impressive. It was an honor staying in a home of a family with such history. Our ride on the Potomac Eagle train was very exciting too and recommended. We look forward to returning here for a possible visit in the fall of the year.
